What is an autonomous industry? How does it work, and how do these new inventions affect the operators' everyday lives? In a campaign for Volvo Autonomous Solutions, we produced a series of films exploring and educating the public about autonomous trucks being field-tested in a Norwegian limestone mine.
For the awareness part of the campaign, we wrote and produced a short “mockumentary” about how we as humans tend to anthropomorphize vehicles. Shooting on location in Brønnøy, we were given a tremendous opportunity to create a film that both entertains and educates the public about autonomous vehicles. We were able to tell a heartwarming, humorous story rooted in the type of world Volvo wants to create.
We are thrilled to announce that our film "My best friend Bob" has won three prestigious OttoCars at the AutoVision Awards 2024, including the Grand Prix for Best Film Production of the year! This incredible achievement celebrates our dedication to creativity and storytelling, showcasing Volvo's vision for autonomous solutions in a way that truly resonates with audiences.
